Stockwood Garden Party
Join us for a magical family adventure at the Stockwood Garden Party 2026, set within the beautiful grounds of Stockwood Discovery Centre, a much-loved free destination known for its gardens, play spaces and family-friendly experiences .
Celebrating its 5-year anniversary, this year’s garden party is bigger, bolder and full of imagination, offering three days of outdoor theatre, creativity and playful exploration for families of all ages. Wander through the gardens and discover a vibrant programme of live shows, storytelling and hands-on activities, with something new to enjoy each day.
What’s on in 2026:
* Young Growers Gardening Club – get hands-on with nature through fun planting and growing workshops
* Magical Fairy Encounters with Tiny T’s Theatre – storytelling, wishes and enchanting woodland moments
* Live Shows Each Day – featuring exciting performances including Stockwood Garden Party favourite Pidge's Big Adventure, Brand New show co-created with x3 luton local schools - ROAR! and Special Guest from Children's Star & Glastonbury Festival Favourite - Junk Jodie & TreeTastic
* Dig, Discover & Play – sensory, messy and exploratory play for curious young minds
* Creative Arts & Crafts – make, build and create using nature-inspired materials facilitated by Culture Trust.
* Garden Games, Partytime & Bubbles! – relaxed, playful activities for the whole family
Stroll across the lawn, relax under the trees, or dive into a world of imagination where children can create, explore and connect with nature. From interactive workshops to joyful performances, the event is designed to spark creativity and bring the community together.
This free, drop-in event runs from 11am–3pm daily, and families are encouraged to bring blankets and enjoy the shows on the lawn.

Please note: This performance will be taking place on the Lawn outside, and therefore there will be no chairs. You are encouraged to bring blankets and cushions to sit on during the performance. Children must be accompanied by an adult and not be left unattended. You can drop in to the event any time between 11am and 3pm, no pre-booking or ticket required. Stay and have fun with your family!
