Tupac the Musical: RnD
A powerful work-in-progress entitled Tupac Musical/Hip Hop Opera performed by Malcolm Kamulete (Featured in Channel 4 ‘s Top Boy and BBC’s Champion), opens on Tupac's birthday week starting 16th June at the Hat factory Luton. The work explores 2Pac's life through his music, text and movement. The work delves into Tupac's childhood of being the son of Afeni Shakur, a Black Panther leader, to becoming an iconic rap artist, writer and actor.
