Written Here: Luton's Everyday Histories come to the Long Gallery
Long Gallery exhibition showcasing an exhibition of short pieces of writing for an art exhibition about everyday life in Luton.
Written Here invites people with a connection to Luton to capture a detail of the town, past or present, in under 30 words.
Your writing could come from something you remember, noticed, experienced or learned about. Write it by hand and upload a photograph, or simply submit the text.
Selected submissions will go on display in the Long Gallery from 11 September as part of Heritage Open Days. A digital publication will also bring together exhibited works and a wider selection of entries.
The open call is open to all ages. Writing in languages other than English is welcome, with an English translation where possible. Contributors can be credited by name or remain anonymous.
