You need to figure out watch gonna do with your life….

Queen of Soca is a coming-of-age drama about Olivia, a talented young singer from an impoverished community in Trinidad. Living under the strict rules of her deeply religious mother, she is forbidden from pursuing soca music, a genre her mother condemns as sinful. When Olivia reconnects with an old friend who believes in her gift, she is tempted into the world of soca. As she struggles to balance faith, family, and her desire to escape poverty, Olivia discovers that her greatest battle isn’t just with her mother, but with the courage to believe in herself..

Starring 2020 Trinidad and Tobago Calypso Monarch Winner Terri Lyons, and a cast featuring Penelope Spencer, Ashana Finesse, Melanie Pantin, Russell Wilkinson-Taitt, Calliste, Queen of Soca paints a vivid and rarely seen picture of Caribbean life, and the life blood that is Soca.
