‘Emerging Talent’ Exhibition

The Emerging Talent exhibition brings together new work by young and emerging creatives in Luton, including students and recent graduates working across a range of creative disciplines.

The works span digital art, visual effects, painting, photography, graphic design, mixed media, interior design and other creative practices. Reflecting a wide range of personal, cultural and visual concerns, the exhibition explores identity, self-expression, digital creativity, grassroots culture, place, space and the changing urban environment.

Together, the works offer a snapshot of emerging creative practice and mark an important moment of transition, development and creative possibility.

Open Call

We are inviting schools, colleges and education providers across Luton to submit student artwork for a June exhibition across Culture Trust venues, including The Long Gallery at Hat Factory Arts Centre. The opportunity is designed to give students a professionally supported public platform to show their work, with The Culture Trust covering printing, installation, deinstallation and promotion. Selected works will be displayed in our uniform exhibition frames, featured online via the Hat District website, and promoted through our wider communications channels. We welcome digital or digitised submissions across illustration, drawing, photography, design and related visual media, with appropriate consent required for all participating students.
