‘Hard Truths’ reunites Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Michele Austin, who both give exemplary performances, with Director Mike Leigh, for the first time since 1996’s ‘Secret and Lies.’ 

Pansy (Marianne Jean-Baptiste,) and Chantelle (Michelle Austin,) are sisters in a tale that weaves an embracing tapestry out of the complex emotions and dynamics of modern family, traversing isolation, grief, depression, determination, compassion and ultimately hope.
