I Wish My Brother George Was Here

A verbatim theatre performance sharing the stories of those affected by the tragic murder of George Floyd.

Some said black lives matter. Others said all lives matter. But all lives can't matter if black lives don't. I Wish My Brother George Was Here is a verbatim theatre performance sharing the stories of those affected by the tragic murder of George Floyd. This performance marks the international protests that followed through words and conversations simultaneously unveiling a coming together and deep seated racism. George has become a symbol of racial injustice in our societies. When is change going to come? And where are the safe spaces? What would things look like if George was still here?
