The Circle of Dance

A joyous and upbeat celebration of the cycle of life by a multigenerational cast of dancers.

Odissi is renowned for its grace and expressiveness and Katie Ryan and Parvati Rajamani are leading interpreters of the Odissi form. Katie trained in Bedford and first performed at the Hat Factory aged eight.

In this performance we see dancers from the ages of seven to seven decades, journeying through life. There are moments of sweetness, of bitter disappointment, reconciliation and coming to terms with the fragility of life.

The performance is engaging, thought-provoking and features dancers at the top of their game.
