Border Light: Where Cultures Meet and Radiate

Borderlight (where cultures meet and radiate) is a community-led South Asian installation that celebrates tradition, heritage, and identity through a contemporary lens. Using fluorescent and glow-in-the-dark acrylics inspired by cultural motifs, the piece is co-created through workshops that celebrate local voices and stories. Bridging generations and geographies, the installation also connects with the South Asian diaspora in Houston, USA, where parallel workshops encourage shared creativity and cross-cultural dialogue.
