Basement Live/s: October
Welcome to the October Basement Lives show brought to you by Luton Lives. This one is a special treat for our own Paul Curry's birthday, which is at the beginning of the month. We're bringing together some of Paul's favourite bands into a line up of great local, and nearly local, independent music.
The line up currently includes (more will be added so keep checking back):
The Sun Dog Collective is exactly that – a collective. With many years’ experience between each member, their varied musical tastes combine to create a melodic rock sound with the occasional acoustic slant. Known for their captivating sound and deeply rooted in the local music scene around Luton the band is a staple of the local live circuit, they are frequent performers at grassroots venues.
Skull Puppets are a garage band, that much is indisputable. They get together in a garage down the garden, hidden amidst the satellite shires, to make a cathartic noise and kick at the blues. Songs of darkness, fuzzy noise and voodoo charm!
You know it's going to be a night to remember.
Running time: 3 hours. Bar opens at 7pm, doors to the auditorium opens at 7.30pm.
