Utter! Lutonia: September 25

The Lyrical, the Satirical and the Necessary

Luton's spoken-word scene owes a lot to the things Paul Rafferty did in the 90s . . . now he's coming back to share some of the things he's done since.  Luton's arts-scene now owes a reasonable amount to Rae Leaver-Rahman and we are delighted to have her on the bill too.  Local musician and artist Gary Abram debuts new material and Mark Billington brings his unique point of view and so does Britny Virginia.  Finally, a poet Luton forged and formed (and fresh from almost winning the Forward Prize in 2019 with Truth Street) David Cain shares his new collection with the Luton cognoscenti.
