Luton Literature Book Festival

Luton Literature Present: Luton Literature Book Festival 2022

This exciting new festival created for local children, young people, families and adults, aims to encourage the discovery and enjoyment of books, reading, writing, illustration, and all creative ways of engaging with stories. Take part in family friendly interactive sessions and talks by nationally renowned authors.

Discover their work and their love for storytelling, covering a diverse range of genres and cultures. If you’re considering a career in literary works, or just want to find out how to create your own stories for your own enjoyment, join the illustration and publishing skills workshops.

Tickets for all events will need to be booked in advance and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

As part of this literary celebration, there will also be a local author and illustrator press fair held in Luton Central Library, which celebrates its 60th birthday on the day of the festival.

Luton Literature is a not-for-profit CIC, which has been set up to encourage a love of reading and creative writing at any age through a range of events, activities and initiatives, and to promote the early uptake of reading in children.
