Best known as the frontman of the multi-award-winning folk powerhouse Bellowhead, Jon has become one of the most influential figures in modern traditional music, captivating audiences with his energetic performances, inventive arrangements and unmistakable voice.

In 2010, Jon launched the ambitious A Folk Song A Day project, recording and sharing 365 traditional songs across a single year. The project sparked a renewed interest in folk singing and has since become a landmark moment in the revival of social folk music. His upcoming solo tour celebrates the publication of the book version of A Folk Song A Day, featuring 365 songs personally transcribed and introduced by Jon.

Alongside his work with Bellowhead, Jon has continued to create acclaimed solo music with The Remnant Kings, exploring themes of a changing world through his post-climate-change album trilogy: Songs From The Floodplain, Afterglow and Last Mile Home.

He has also continued his celebrated partnership with fellow Bellowhead member John Spiers, performing as Spiers & Boden and bringing traditional English songs and tunes to new audiences.

From festival stages and sold-out concert halls to appearing as the singing busker in Richard Curtis’ film About Time, Jon Boden’s career has crossed genres and generations. His recording of “How Long Will I Love You” for the film soundtrack has reached millions of listeners worldwide.

A rare performer who bridges tradition and innovation, Jon Boden continues to prove why he remains one of the most exciting and influential artists in folk music today.
