In Conversation With Sarah Salim

Sarah Salim, a British-Pakistani visual artist, founding director of ALIF New Beginnings (formally Wo Rassta), an arts organisation which aims to celebrate and promote Islamic arts and culture across all art disciplines. 

2022, in collaboration with UKCCA, Sarah worked with the community to create Luton’s first Eid parade in Luton followed by Sarah leading the first Eid parade performance at The Mayor of London’s Eid on the Square event in 2023.
