Music In The Museum: Sinfonia Verdi Ensemble with Padmanaban Jayaraman: East Meets West
Music from two of the world's great classical traditions meets in this unique concert where one of Mozart's most sublime works: his String Quintet in G minor is followed by reflections and provocations from legendary Indian percussionist Padmanaban Jayaraman. Musicians of East and West then combine to show that at a fundamental level we all have the same musical, as well as physical DNA.
