Music in the Museum: Classical

A Classical music performance taking place in Wardown House, Museum and Gallery's stunning Drawing Room - surrounded by the museum's unique art collection and with spectacular views overlooking Wardown Park.

Introduced by Sinfonia Verdi’s Conductor David Murphy and featuring world renowned musicians from the Indian Classical Tradition, this concert will enable both new listeners and aficionados of this thrilling musical genre to experience a glorious range of atmospheres and emotions.

Following 2022's sold out performance, back by popular demand are the great “Kalaimamani” Jayaraman Padmanaban and Jayashree Padmanaban, joined for this very special performance, by violin virtuoso Sithamparanathan Jalatharan “Isaignasudar”. Experience an exciting musical journey guided by a talented trio, presenting a fresh set of songs you've never heard before.
