After 11 successful years of delivering exceptional arts, culture and heritage work for Luton and the surrounding areas, we’re ready to think bigger and spread our wings – focussing on Luton but embracing the rest of the UK and the world. And to ensure this inspiring future for our important work, we know we need to be less dependent on funding and grants, and more able to stand proud as a viable self-sustainable organisation.
Our new brand, The Culture Trust, creates the opportunity for us to present ourselves to the wider world in a new, bold, striking and flexible manner. Where projects are locally-focussed the addition of the word ‘Luton’ will provide a key sense of place, and projects that have local, regional and national appeal can benefit from the confidence the stand-alone name inspires.
Our new iconic logo, inspired by the hat-making heritage and architecture of Luton, acts as a stamp of excellence whilst the keystones making up the letter ‘C’ for Culture represent our different diverse and multi-faceted functions and communities coming together under one inclusive Trust.
Together with our new website, the new brand instantly communicates our key PRIDE values – Passionate, Relevant, Inspirational, Distinctive and Ethical – to everyone that comes into contact with The Culture Trust. And we can be seen as what we are: a vibrant, distinctive creative organisation which is both locally relevant and nationally significant, promoting pride of place, creating jobs, and encouraging engagement in the arts, culture and regeneration.
