Artists of the Month - August 2026

This month we're shining a spotlight on not one, but two of our Creative & Cultural Trainees.

Over the past year, Kiah Rihanna and Srea have developed their own creative practices while helping bring Luton's cultural venues and events to life through marketing, design and community projects. Alongside supporting independent and collaborative work across The Culture Trust, they've continued to make their mark as emerging creatives in their own right.

Kiah Rihanna

Kiah is a Luton-based singer-songwriter blending alternative pop with piano-driven ballads and raw, honest storytelling. Influenced by artists including Nothing But Thieves and Olivia Rodrigo, her music explores identity, relationships and the complexities of growing up.

Alongside performing at festivals, community events and showcases across London and the surrounding area, Kiah runs a community drama company that creates opportunities for children and young people to build confidence and express themselves through the performing arts.

During her traineeship, Kiah specialised in marketing, social media campaigns, audience analysis and event organisation, contributing to projects including Stockwood Illuminated, the Creative Directory and initiatives celebrating Luton's creative community. She is currently working towards the release of her debut EP.

Srea (Sreavic)

Working under the name Sreavic, Srea creates warm, nostalgic illustrations inspired by her Filipino heritage, life in England and the shared experiences of culture, identity and belonging. Her artwork celebrates the comfort of home through cosy characters, food and everyday moments.

Alongside collaborations with organisations including Revoluton Arts, WOM Collective and the London Transport Museum, Srea is passionate about investing back into Luton's creative community. Through her Drawing Luton Together workshops, product collaborations with local businesses and fundraising initiatives for local charities, she continues to use creativity to bring people together.

As part of the Creative & Cultural Traineeship, Srea worked across marketing, graphic design, events and creative projects supporting cultural spaces including Wardown Museum, Stockwood Park, the Hat District and the Long Gallery, while continuing to grow her own creative practice.
