Biographies

Xenia Aidonopoulou

Xenia Aidonopoulou is a freelance dance dramaturg and director that has recently moved to the UK from Athens, Greece.
Xenia has a Master of Arts in Theatre Directing from Middlesex University of London. Since 2002, she has worked extensively for the National Theatre of Greece, the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the Athens International Dance Festival and smaller art institutions as a dramaturg and a scriptwriter. Since 2005, she has had an ongoing collaboration as a dramaturg with choreographer/director Konstantinos Rigos and Oktana Dance Theatre. Xenia has collaborated with various directors and choreographers including Sivan Rubinstein, Georgia Tegou, Michalis Theophanous, Kate Flatt, Krishna Zivraj-Nair, Alexandros Efklidis, Simos Kakalas, Konstantinos Arvanitakis, Lenio Kaklea, Victor Arditti. She is a member of the Dramaturgs’ Network, UK and a member of the Artist Development Troop at Cambridge Junction.

Lia Prentaki

Lia Prentaki is a creative producer specialising in dance for family audiences. Lia works at The Place as Youth & Families Producer, and has over the years developed a strong network and varied knowledge of Performance for young Audiences. She runs a varied portfolio of artists and projects as an Independent Creative Producer, mentor and Consultant. Lia works with independent dance artists such as Kate Flatt, Subathra Subramaniam, Sivan Rubinstein, Leila McMillan, Pagrav Dance Company, Bloomsbury Festival and many more independent projects and events.
