Mosaic Making Made Simple
*CANCELLED* Join in our HATCH workshops with established artists to learn new skills, creative techniques, and make your own art.
A great way to learn a new skill as well as socialise and have fun, participants will leave with an ungrouted piece of art and will have learnt the basics of how to put a mosaic together. Therapeutic and addictive, this workshop is a fantastic family activity seeing each other’s creativity and helping each other when required.
Skills and techniques covered in this workshop include:
- How to transfer a design or image to the base
- How to choose and place the tiles on the base
- How to look at direction and flow
- How to choose a suitable background
- How to use tile cutters
