An Introduction to Print Making

Join in our HATCH workshops with established artists to learn new skills, creative techniques, and make your own art.

Join Katie Allen for a five week linoprinting, monoprinting and etching course where you will learn a range of basic skills and techniques, including how to to grow confident in print techniques, trying new layering and customisation, learning how to plan a two colour reduction linoprint and how to do printmaking at home and the equipment to use (e.g. pasta machine etching). Please note you will not have access to a studio printing press.

By the end of this course you will walk away with an increased understanding of printmaking as well as your own portfolio of prints.

This course is suitable for both confident beginners and people who want to build on their practice with materials at home.
