Clay Club: Clay Weaving
Join Lugus Ceramics for another fun-filled and family-friendly Clay Club where we'll be exploring the possibilities of weaving with clay - combining two heritage crafts to create your very own ceramic basket, bowl, plate or vase or have a play and see what you can come up with - get creative!
If you'd like to create a basket, we recommend bringing in a dish from your kitchen to act as a former to build the basket around!
The session will be held in the hatch space of the Hat Factory with demonstrations at the beginning so please do arrive on time!
You will be provided all the clay and tools required, so just bring yourself, an experimental attitude and a former/mould if you can!
The new cost of the ticket is also inclusive of the cost of glazing too so we'll have a few options for you to pick from on the day!
All ages and abilities welcome though children must be accompanied by an adult!
Price List Explained
Full Price
This cost is the basic rate required to cover the running costs of the class.
Supporter Rate
The supporter rate is for anyone who is able to and wants to pay a bit extra to support other participants. The money goes into our Access fund which enables us to offer subsidised spaces for those who experience financial barriers which mean they wouldn’t be able to participate in the class.
Subsidised Rate
This is available for anyone experiencing financial difficulty at the moment, it is subsidised by our Access fund.
