Serving the community with a smile, Stopsley Library is located on Hitchin Road, next door to Tesco Express.
We have a great selection of both fiction and non-fiction, as well as an array of newspapers and magazines. However, if you can’t find what you’re looking for one of our librarians will be very happy to help. There are free computers available for you to use and WiFi to connect to your devices. We also regularly host activities for children and families, including Bookstart Rhyme Time and Homework Club.
Come on in, everyone’s welcome.

Library visits for schools
We offer free visits for every Luton school to get their early years, Key stage 1 and 2 pupils reading and give them:
- Information on how to join the library
- A guide on how to get the best out of their library and its services
- Time to explore and choose books to borrow
We'd love to welcome you to our libraries or bring the library to your school to encourage your pupils to gain a lifelong love of reading for pleasure and learning.
