Every second Sunday of the month, Music in the Museum: Jazz presents the very best of jazz in a music performance taking place in the stunning Drawing Room, surrounded by the museum's unique art collection and with spectacular views overlooking Wardown Park.

About Marius Ptas

Polish born session guitarist Marius Ptas honed his skills sharing the stage from a young age with some of the world’s finest Grammy Award Winning jazz musicians such as Wlodek Pawlik, Jim Mullen and Philip Achille. Ptas’ career has seen him play some of the world’s finest stages and festivals including Apollo Theatre in New York, Rockhal Area In Luxembourg, North By Northwest Philadelphia, Poland’s prestigious FAMA festival, an impressive list of UK concerts including The 02, Isle of Wight Festival, Rhythm of the World festival, Queen Elizabeth Park Olympic Stadium and London’s famous Jazz Café.

Ptas has supported X Factor’s James Arthur, Olly Murs, Brit Nominee Laura Mvula, Ella Eyre, VV Brown and Brian McKnight. Marius has played multiple BBC Radio live tours and sessions including Radio 1
