Join in our HATCH workshops with established artists to learn new skills, creative techniques, and make your own art
Participants will make a sewn spine book and learn how to make a cover using fabric, before beginning to fill their book using various techniques, stamping, embellishing and decorating.
This workshop is great for creating a unique and special book, which can be made for yourself or as a present. It’s an inclusive workshop giving participants time to play, explore and immerse themselves in the process of creativity with the bonus of leaving with a beautiful book that can be treasured forever.
Running Time: 6 hours, including a lunch break
Please note:
Participants will be using glue in this class and possibly paint so we advise you to wear clothes you wont mind getting messy. Please bring a pencil, ruler, eraser and sharp scissors.You may also bring photocopies of photos and please bring ephemera you might like to include. Please bear in mind that your book will be A6 size.
